I’m feeling wonderful! I’ve enjoyed life at a much slower pace this past month or so. Now that I no longer have to create so many artworks for next season, I have more time to spend on the other things I enjoy doing, whilst living on Crete. Much as I love making my Seashell Mosaic Collage Paintings, I’m also loving that there’s no pressure anymore. In November I only completed 2 artworks, to replace those I sold on Etsy. Enjoying Long Walks in the Beautiful Cretan Countryside
We all had a wonderful first day of beachcombing in Falasarna the first week in November. The weather was gorgeous and whilst Lisa, Debbie and I were hunting for shells and sea treasures – Ross actually went swimming and snorkeling. Walking in the Snowy Mountains
It seems to me to be all about contrasts since I returned from the UK. Living in Crete is so much less hectic and more peaceful compared with the sheer volume of people, traffic, shops and buildings that I have recently experienced during my stay in the UK. I notice this every year and I have come home again to Crete with a smug feeling of relief and real freedom. Continue reading
